CClick here for the bulletin with liturgy for Sunday, July 23, the feast of St. Mary Magdalene.
Today we celebrate the Feast of St. Mary Magdalene. During his ministry, Jesus delivered Mary from evil spirits. She was among the women who accompanied and supported Jesus and the apostles, and was present at the crucifixion. Mary Magdalene was also the first to witness the resurrection, and thus has been called “equal to the apostles.” Because Jesus told her to announce his resurrection to his disciples, she has also been called “the apostle to the apostles.”
Liturgy is from the Anglican Service Book, available online here: Anglican Service Book.
